Overview
Conventional rotary methods struggle when encountering solid rock bases. Our DTH (Down-The-Hole) machinery solves this by using high-pressure compressed air to drive a percussion hammer directly at the bottom of the drill string. It repeatedly impacts and crushes dense rock into dust, maintaining straight, perfect boreholes.
Process Explanation
A massive diesel air compressor is linked continuously to the drill rig, providing the enormous air volume needed to actuate the hammer below the earth.
While the drill rod turns slowly, the pneumatic hammer smashes the rock matrix rapidly. The exhaust air powerfully blows the rock chips and dust back up the hole to the surface.
Once anchored securely in the rock socket, standard steel rebars and micro-pile casing are installed, and high-strength grout or concrete is injected.
